★ UPDATE ON THINGS THUS FAR: DESIGN
\SO this is what i'm doing thus far: lined fitted jacket these techniques on it:
- black brocade roses
- Gold lead applique
- Knife pleat with organza
- couching with fabric pizza
- basketweave
- trim
- lutrador
The lining would be silk painted, the under arm of the sleeves would be knife pleated as well and the back would be highly embroidered and quilted with a digital print in the middle (won't be showing that online just yet until I got the exact design down)
The skirt is high waisted pencil skirt using the same main fabric as the jacket. However, I am thinking of doing chanelleing on the skirt, something that doesn't suit with my teacher becasue she thinks it would be too much.
Any thoughts?
